. mirror mirror

last night i played around with an iphone app that mirror reflects images.
strangely, unexpectedly i was completely fascinated by it.
seeing my paintings and drawings in this whole new perspective.
morphing into strange lumps of skin and lines and patterns.
like creepy deformed alien monster beauties.
im tempted to explore this a bit further.

.more after the jump.

  4. Well this is very interesting! The app made some seamless transitions. Makes me wish I had a smartphone! Some of these remain provocative, and some have become *more so*. Thanks for sharing!

  6. i totally see what you mean! i gotta try doing this too. it's a good exercise for the eye (& the mind's eye),
giving it some fresh new stance to look at things from.
so cool how it makes some of your paintings totally abstract then when you get closer it's actually figurative or "fleshy". :D

  14. would you be so kind and post some of your new paintings in your blog? I haven't been able to keep up with your work, before I used to look at your livejournal from time to time because it had a lot of work in progress and full paintings :)
